What is Droitwich CVS?

We are an independent charity that supports, promotes, and develops community and voluntary action in the Droitwich Spa area.

Our mission:

To provide services that focus on the needs of the community, to improve connections & the wellbeing of local people.

Our Services:

Community Transport

We run an invaluable community transport scheme, enabling residents to connect with others and maintain their independence. Our team of volunteer drivers help residents access necessary resources and services such as doctors, dentists, shopping, seeing family and attending social clubs.

Community Encouragement

We manage two great community spaces, The Old Library Centre and Rotary house in Droitwich Spa.

We offer hire of these community spaces to charities, community groups, clubs, and individuals. Our spaces are central location, with great accessibility for all.

Signposting and Support

We act as a signposting service to those who need help accessing information or solutions to problems and hardships they may be facing.

We also find opportunities in Worcestershire for people who want to make a difference by volunteering their time and expertise. Charities and community groups can promote their volunteering opportunities through us. We provide a service to match local people who want to volunteer with local organisations with current opportunities. Organisations can contact us to update or upload their volunteer roles for us to share and display.

Community Projects

At the Westlands Community Centre our Moving Forward project offer a wide range of services for Droitwich West residents. The team hold family activities, deliver training courses, hold drop-in services, and run a Community Fridge. The fridge enables residents to access fresh quality food, that would otherwise go to landfill. This service is free of charge and open to everyone.
